Toccata: Act of War

This work was commissioned by pianist Gregory Partain and premiered by him at a Kentucky Music Teachers' Association conference in 2002. Subsequently it was chosen by SCI for a national tour and recording by Jeri-Mae Astolfi on Capstone records; for a recording on "Gregory Partain: Works, Volume II;" and for broadcast by Princeton Public Radio on a 24-hour marathon September 11, 2011, "We Remember September 11." It's incredibly powerful in Greg's performance! Send me an email for a complete examination copy of the score.
