Tom Dempster is a composer and educator living and working in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He has previously taught at the University of Texas, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, South Carolina State University, Claflin University, and the Governor's School of North Carolina. He currently serves as director of musical activities at the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts in Hot Springs, AR.
